Starter Template Website: Terms of Use


1. Product Overview


The Starter Template Website is a service-based solution wherein clients are granted the use of a professionally designed website template for the duration of their active hosting subscription with us.

Clients may select from a limited number of existing design templates
(Template 1: https://template1.calm.digital/, Template 2: https://template2.calm.digital/, and Template 3: https://template3.calm.digital/).

Additional templates may become available over time.

 

2. Client Responsibilities


Clients must submit a completed creative brief prior to project commencement. Delays in submission may affect overall timelines.

Clients are expected to provide timely and constructive feedback on creative drafts. Any delay in communication may impact delivery timeframes.

Provided the client is responsive, the standard setup process is typically completed within 14 days from the start of production.

Clients must acknowledge that template designs are fixed. While content (such as text and imagery) may be updated, the layout, structure, and design of the template may not be altered unless otherwise agreed in writing.


3. Included Features

Additional pages or functionalities can be purchased at an extra cost.

Clients may request full admin access to manage page content independently. This access is available at a one-time cost of £30.00 + VAT.


4. Ownership & Intellectual Property

Clients acknowledge that they do not own the website, the template, or the platform upon which the site is built.

Full rights to the supplied content (i.e., any text, images, or files the client provides) remain with the client.

Any copywriting, content, or media (e.g. logos) we produce for the client becomes the client's property upon full payment.

If the hosting subscription is terminated, the client's website will be taken offline.

Upon cancellation, clients may request a copy of all supplied content.

If we have registered a domain on behalf of the client, it may be transferred to the client provided all related fees have been paid in full.


5. Subscription and Cancellation


Hosting commences on the date the first invoice is raised, as the server space is reserved on this date.

Hosting is charged on a recurring basis, charged annually to the client by Calm Digital. Renewals will occur 28 days prior to the anniversary of the initial hosting period.

Payments may be processed via Stripe or by bank transfer following an invoice, depending on client preference.


Clients must provide at least 30 days' notice prior to their next billing cycle starting, to avoid being charged for the subsequent period.
